Privacy Policy
FuseCal™ ("FuseCal", the "Website", or the "Service") is a service of Public Display, Inc., (the "Company", "We", or "Us"). This policy explains: 1) what personal information FuseCal collects from users; 2) how We use it such information; 3) what data we obtain when information is imported into or subscribe to through FuseCal; and, 4) how we retain such data.
Personal Information We May Collect
Currently, when users register with FuseCal, we may ask for personal details such as name, zip code and e-mail address. We may collect further information during use of FuseCal (such as IP addresses, how often FuseCal is used, how long FuseCal sessions are, what links are clicked on, etc.) In addition, when there are communications between FuseCal users and us, we may collect additional information. This information is gathered automatically through log files. Some of it is anonymous and some may be personally identifiable.
If users log into other websites or complete forms through FuseCal, We will pass the relevant username and password to the remote website, using the level of security that the remote website allows. Unless specified otherwise, FuseCal will store this username and password so a user may automatically log into those sites in the future, but We will not share it with others.
We may also collect information through cookies, which are packets of information sent by our servers to a user's web browser and then sent back by the browser each time it accesses our servers. Our cookies may contain a variety of information, such as the websites or events that have been accessed, session durations and IP addresses.
Use of Information
We use personally identifiable information for only these purposes:
- To enable users to use FuseCal, including enabling users to create, store, edit, transmit, monitor, subscribe to, or otherwise distribute content when using FuseCal
- To enable users to important information and subscribe to and share FuseCal data feeds
- To update a user's calendar or similar event reader with new or changed information pertaining to the FuseCal data feeds to which such user has subscribed
- To send a user email reminders and/or update notices about information within the FuseCal data feeds to which such user has subscribed
- To match or otherwise facilitate the display of information and advertisements pertaining to products and services that might interest users
- To periodically provide users with information pertaining to FuseCal
- To contact users as and when We believe it to be necessary To send, with a user's consent (which may be withdrawn at any time), marketing and advertising material from Us or others. We will not share personal details with any advertisers, without a user's explicit consent.
- As may be stipulated in this Policy, or in the Terms of Use governing the use of FuseCal ("Terms of Use")
We may use anonymous information, including information pertaining to specific event subscriptions on an individual or aggregate basis, to ensure or improve the quality of FuseCal, to enhance user experience, to create new services, to change or cancel existing features and content, or to provide more personalized features, functions, applications, advertisements or services. We may share such information with others, provided that it does not contain personal information.
We may share personally identifiable information with others if:
- We believe that a user has breached the Terms of Use, including, but not limited to using FuseCal for illegal purposes
- We are required by law to do so
- There is a case of dispute, or legal proceeding of any kind between Us and a user
- There is a case in which We may reasonably believe that sharing information is necessary to prevent damage
We may use cookies to save users the need to reenter their respective user names and passwords each time users login on FuseCal. We may also use cookies for such purposes as collecting statistical information about the use of FuseCal or the content accessed through FuseCal, to verify information, to adjust FuseCal to personal preferences and for information security purposes.
Security
We have systems in place that protect user's personal information and minimize the risks of theft, damage, loss of information, or unauthorized access or use of information. None of these measures is able to provide absolute assurance and we do not guarantee that FuseCal and our databases shall be immune from any wrongdoings or malfunctions.
Advertising
We may permit other companies to conduct advertising campaigns on FuseCal. The advertisements that users will be exposed to at FuseCal may be redirected from the servers of those advertising companies. Some advertisers may store and use cookies on users' computers. The cookies enable them to collect information about websites that users have accessed, advertisements posted on those sites and the advertisements that users have viewed. In this manner advertisers try to display advertisements tailored to users' specific preferences. The use made by the advertisers of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies and not to this policy or Our Terms of Use. Changes
We may change the terms of this Policy from time to time. We recommend that you read it periodically.
